About the Creator
Jason Keyser holds a BS in Finance from Virginia Tech. He has prior experience in corporate finance in the maritime shipping and data center industries, as well as experience in investment banking, where he served as a sell-side advisor on M&A transactions in the lower middle market. He currently works for Bishop Street Underwriters, a private-equity-backed insurance MGA (Managing General Agent) platform, as an FP&A Manager.
He has extensive experience with financial modeling, financial statement analysis, business valuation, FP&A, programming and data science for financial applications. He is passionate about driving intelligent business decisions through practical financial frameworks and technology enablement. He created Bizness Savvy Games as an interactive learning tool to illustrate the importance of practical financial analysis on strategic business decision making.

Bizness Savvy Games simulations are designed to go beyond the formulas and textbook definitions to build real intuition behind strategic business decision-making and how business performance links to the financial statements.
The simulations challenge the player to make decisions about how to allocate scarce capital among various opportunities in the face of uncertain business conditions – in short, the player learns to see the world as a real business manager does. The value of understanding the financial conclusions to be drawn from each data set becomes evident, as well as the nuances which may be lost in a business textbook or a test.
